Switzerland signs Luxembourg Rail Protocol

At a signing ceremony today in Luxembourg, the Diplomatic Conference adopted the new Luxembourg Protocol to the Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment on Matters Specific to Railway Rolling Stock.

Switzerland became one of the first states to sign the Luxembourg Rail Protocol today. With OTIF, one of the sponsors of the Protocol, based in Bern, Switzerland has long been a centre for the rail industry. For more information (in German) click here.
