Leading Public Services Law Firm joins the RWG

The UK-based law firm Bevan Brittan LLP has joined the RWG. Bevan Brittan is recognised as one of the leading law firms in the UK for advising parties in both the public and private sectors on matters where there is a public service element, such as in transport.

The firm’s transport practice has been strengthened by the arrival in late 2012 of Martin Fleetwood, who brings to the firm considerable rail and other transport experience from acting for operators lessors, financiers, manufacturers and contractors over a number of years. The addition of this experience creates a compelling and significant transport practice at the firm. As the Secretary of the RWG’s Management Committee, Martin also ensures that the firm has significant knowledge of the Luxembourg Rail Protocol, the Cape Town Convention on Interests in Mobile Equipment and the issues associated with the adoption of the Luxembourg Rail Protocol both in the UK and elsewhere.
