We are sad to inform you that our treasured colleague and friend George Lynn passed away earlier this month.

George was one of the doyens of the rail industry, a great friend of the Rail Working Group and enthusiastic supporter of the Luxembourg Rail Protocol. He had the vision to see the Protocol’s potential when others procrastinated or criticised the very idea. Always positive, ever considerate, with a wonderful gentle sense of humour, his passing is a huge loss to us all. We send our deepest condolences to his family; may he rest in peace.

There will be a Service of Remembrance for George on Thursday, 3 September, in his home church in Litlington, Cambridgeshire to which his many friends and former work colleagues are invited. Please contact Anne at annielynn12@aol.com should you require further details.
